As you may already be aware, FRIGG Official released a statement
Monday morning (12/13/21) informing the world that they were issuing a voluntary recall of their silicone nipple pacifier stating:
“Silicone nipple experienced a fault on a few pacifiers, where the nipple partially detached from the shield”
*Please note that the recall does not affect latex nipple pacifiers.
In the statement, FRIGG Official further instructed customers to direct their inquiries for refund of product to the retailer they purchased from. You are receiving this email because you have purchased a silicone
nipple pacifier(s) from us.
As a mom-owned brand, we want you to know that we value safety above anything else. As we work to navigate through this recall to best to suit our customers, we will be offering a selection of options to choose from. We ask that you choose whichever option of compensation that works the best for you. Noting that if you may have purchased several times from us, some of your pacifiers within the window of usage time may qualify for refund while others may not.
It is important to understand that we were instructed to only replace
pacifiers that had not been used/purchased beyond their recommended usage window of 2-3 months and we will not be compensating for those that fall outside this time frame. If you have used your FRIGG pacifier for 3+ months or have finished using your FRIGG pacifier, please note this application for refund does not apply to you.
For those customers with unused pacifiers, or pacifiers being used for less than 3 months, the options for reimbursement are as follows:
You will return your unused or used (< 3 months) product to us for a
full refund once received.
You may defeat your product (cut the nipple off your pacifier(s)),
provide to us proof in a photo and we will offer you the choice of a
replacement in latex nipple or a credit to our website for equal value of your purchase(s).
Mushie (our regional distributor) has offered to have customers
receive a credit to their store in exchange for proof of a defeated
product alongside an order number and value total (which we can
provide you). This option could allow you to purchase a replacement pacifier or any other Mushie product.
Should your pacifier already be discarded, or you are beyond the 3
months of usage, you can simply reply to this email letting us know
that you received the notice of recall. No further action will be
required. We appreciate your honesty in this matter.
Depending on the option you select, we will reply to you with how to
proceed to complete your refund. Any questions you may have about the process will most likely be outlined in the email that follows your selection.
We understand how troubling this can be, especially days away from the holidays, but we appreciate the time you take to promptly reply and decide what course of refund you would like so that we can process your reimbursement efficiently for you.
For your own peace of mind, we want to inform you that none of our
customers have come forth with any issues of defective product.
