This is a great question! It is important to note that turn-around time and shipping time are two separate things. Turn around time is the time it takes us to prepare your order. Shipping time is the time it takes for the shipping provider to deliver the product to you. IF you select letter mail shipping, your item(s) go UNTRACKED and at your own expense. We cannot see where they are or what happened in the event they go undelivered. We do not offer refunds for items that do not arrive once we have successfully handed off your parcel to the respective shipping company UNLESS you select a tracked method. Tracked shipping is safer, quicker and insured in the event that your parcel gets misplaced or damaged.

Yes. We offer contactless local pickup in Fredericton, NB, on Woodstock Road. If you select local pickup for your shipping method, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to pick up your products once they are ready.

It is very hard to be unbiased when creating products and we understand the concern parents have when giving products to the ones they love the most! We use a series of testing methods including fixtures testing (for industry standard sizing), drop testing (following industry standards), and tension and torque testing (via a 3rd party safety testing company in the United States).
As parents, we are committed to providing safe products above all else. Regardless of this dedication, it is important to understand that even certified safe products are not indestructible. It is imperative that you read and understand how to properly care for your products at all times and inspect them prior to use. We use only FDA approved, food-grade silicone and hard wood species.
Silicone, which is a man-made polymer composed of silica, carbon dioxide and water vapour, is a non-toxic, non-porous material that is known for its incredible durability. Unlike plastic, it does not contain byproducts of toxic materials, and it does not transfer odours or stains. It is heat resistant up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, making it dishwasher and microwave safe (in the absence of other materials: do not put wood or metal parts in the microwave).
Silicone is also hypoallergenic, hygienic and anti-fungal. Because it does not contain any chemical by-products it makes it more sustainable to the environment as it breaks down into its elements.
We use only hard wood for our teethers: either beechwood or maple. Hardwood is a durable, porous material that is naturally antibacterial. Hardwood does not splinter. Overtime, with repetitive exposure to moisture (from saliva and washing), wood grain can become brittle without proper care. We recommend sealing your wood with a food-grade oil (we love olive oil, coconut oil or jojoba oil) to seal the wood pores and keep the teether feeling softer and newer longer. If you find your teether becoming rough, simply sand it with fine grit sandpaper, wipe it and then seal it with an oil of choice. To seal, simply wipe a small amount of oil over the surface of the wood, wipe off any excess and lay flat to dry.
